Hôtel La Rivière is located next to a gothic bridge on the riverbank of La Truyère, in the heart of the Lot valley.


This charming boutique hotel was completely refurbished in 2006 and now features 31 comfortable bedrooms with modern bathrooms, a gastronomic restaurant, a tapas bar, a leisure outdoor heated swimming pool, a bar pool and terrace in summer, a complete spa (fitness, hammam with aromatherapy, sauna, jacuzzi), a play room for kids and an outdoor play area.

Located on its densely populated fish stretch of the Truyère river, Hôtel La Rivière is ideally positioned in the heart of a tourist region with numerous points of interest including cultural sites (Conques, Najac castle, Estaing, Rodez, Knights Templar, Millau viaduct …), sport (hiking, canoe kayak, horse riding, mountain biking, cycling, sailing, skiing, …), leisure (fishing, local craft with knives, Montsalvy pottery of Atkins, folks street festivals) and not forgetting its gastronomic heritage.

The main road links to access this region of North Aveyron are:


From the West:

A20 (exit 56) until Figeac, then N140 (axe Brive-Mediterranean) via Decazeville or A71 until Clermont-Ferrand, then A75.


From the North and Paris:

A10 direction Orléans then A71 direction Clermont-Ferrand and A75 exit 28 Saint-Flour / Chaudes-Aigues / Espalion, then D929 and D34 until Entraygues.


From the East and Lyon region:

A47or N88 through Saint Etienne, Le Puy and Mende or N9/A75.


From the Southwest:

A20 via Montauban until Caussade, then D926 via Caylus or A68/N88 via Albi and Carmaux, Albi D999, St Affrique, Millau.


From the Southeast, Marseille, Montpellier:

N109 or A9 then A75 exit 42 after Millau viaduct then N88 and D920 direction Espalion.


From these main roads, Entraygues-sur-Truyère is mainly accessible via:

-D 920 connecting Aurillac and Espalion

-D 904 connecting Rodez and Mur-de-Barrez


The travel by car from Rodez to Entraygues takes 50 minutes.


Access by train:

Entraygues-sur-Truyère is not directly connected by train. Coaches to Entraygues depart from the closest 2 train stations:

- Rodez Station with daily connections to Paris, Toulouse, Millau.

- Aurillac Station with daily connections to Clermont-Ferrand, Saint-Flour, Brive and Toulouse.

Pets are not accepted in the hotel.

For you comfort, hotel rooms and restaurant are non-smoking.

Inside the hotel, "Bar l’Armagnac" includes two separate rooms, one of which allows smoking and the outside terrace is equipped with a smoking zone.



Booking conditions:

Any booking for a stay shorter than 3 days and cancelled less than 24 hours prior to arrival date, is due in its entirety.

Any booking for a group or a stay of 3 days or longer can only be confirmed when a 30% deposit is paid based on the total cost of the stay.

In the event of partial or complete cancellation of bookings for stays of 3 days or longer, the hotelier will keep as a compensation for the loss:
· 0% of the deposit for bookings cancelled more than 2 months prior to arrival date
· 25% of the deposit for bookings cancelled between 2 months and 1 month prior to arrival date
· 50% of the deposit for bookings cancelled between 1 month and 15 days prior to arrival date
· 100% of the deposit for bookings cancelled less than 15 days prior to arrival date

The restaurant provides a gastronomic experience using the freshest local ingredients in season and showcasing the exceptional quality of the best products available in the region (beef d’Aubrac, lamb del Païs, veal from Aveyron and Ségala).

The flavours are simple but distinctive and tasty, offering the best of French cooking with a modern twist and widening the scope of flavours with the subtle addition of exotic aromas.


The “Restaurant La Truyère” displays a good selection of a la carte and menu dishes including some tasty vegetarian options. The food is healthy with well-balanced portions, follows the rhythm of the seasons and is produced from the best local ingredients.


The “Armagnac Bar” welcomes you in comfortable settings. On a regular basis live bands will provide the evening entertainment. The “Armagnac Bar” will broadcast international sports events with Sky Sport on two plasma screens and has a selection of international beers bottle, Leffe blonde and Kronenbourg 1664 on draught. Over 30 whiskies, armagnacs and cognacs are available as well as a selection of cigars.

A selection of changing “tapas of the world” is to be discovered, combining fresh seasonal products of great quality with subtle flavours from various continents.

To increase the choice offering, half-board customers have the option to swap on a daily basis their menu in the “Restaurant La Truyère” for a selection of tapas dishes in the “Armagnac Bar”.


In summer, the “Grill Bar La Piscine” will offer a barbecue grill with a selection of brochettes, kebabs, salads, light snacks, ice creams and drinks (draught beer, wine and soft drinks).
