A beautifully situated detached french cottage, a must for all those seeking a taste of real french culture. The house, situated in Burgundy, was renovated in 2006 and has loads of charm including a very large garden with aromatic plants thyme, laurel, parsley as well as plenty of flowers and trees. The cottage has 2 nicely sized bedrooms (1 double and 1 twin with 2 single beds), a super fitted kitchen with dishwasher, microwave large fridge freezer etc. The kitchen opens direcly onto the large patio. The cottage has central heating throughout as well as a real log burning fire in the living room. There is large TV with French and British Channels, a DVD player, HI-FI & an Internet wifi connection. Four bikes are at your disposal to cycle along the country lanes and picnic by the lakes. We can also all cater for young children if required (bed, high chair, changing table, toys...).

The beautiful village of Baudrières, in Burgundy, has it own bakery for the delightful french bread and also has a bar/restaurant. Baudrières has lots of outdoor activites : tennis courts , outdoor adventure fitness circuit, great walks around the numerous country lakes and fishing.
The Burgundy region is renowned for its fine wines and gastronomic food. The quality of the restaurants is second to none. Hautes Cotes de Beaune, Meursault, Montrachet, Pommard are just a few of the wines on offer. There are also plenty of museums, castles and abbeys to be seen. Whether its cycling, walking or day trips out the gîte is the ideal location to visit all that Burgundy has to offer!
